This week I was lucky enough to photograph two beautiful senior girls. This is Brea… I shot her brother’s wedding photos earlier this summer, so it was fun to see her again. Here are some of my favorite shots of Brea… and her cute little dog too!

Well, I hope I have reached most of my current clients with my emailed flyer. The big news is that Santa will be coming to Candice Brumm Photography on November 8th! I’m so excited to have him in my very own studio. Families can have their own time with Santa, to visit, and take some beautiful portraits. Each family will have approximately 10 minutes with Santa, and Candice. The charge is only $15 per family, and will include approximately 4 shots with Santa. Please let me know if you’re interested. Appointments must be booked with Candice, and times are filling up quickly. Please call or email for more information, or to book your appointment with Santa. FYI… Santa’s beard is REAL! Here’s a sneak peak at Santa…

This couple got lucky with the Minnesota weather this year. The weather was cool, but the evening ended with a gorgeous sunset! The golf course in Lake Elmo, had the most breath taking views. Here are a few images from Suzie and Luke’s wedding.

Look at this cutie little boy! This is my new fun pose, at least for the next few months. Babies look so adorable on this setee. I photographed this little guy’s parent’s wedding last year, and now I get to watch him, and his family grow. Gotta love it!

I have spoken before about NILMDTS, the organization that offers grieving familes, a professional photographer for their needs. I had another session yesterday. This one touched me more than any of the other sessions that I’ve done for NILMDTS. This family has gone through so much effort to create a child together, and have failed several times. This time, the mother was 22 weeks pregnant with twins. I photographed the baby girl yesterday. So tiny, so perfect! Every feature she had was beautiful and perfect! When I was photographing her, I just kept thinking, “I’m going to take the BEST pictures for this family, it’s my job to create beautiful pictures for this family to remember their daughter.” Emotionally, I was ok, until the mother started to cry, then I started to get a little teary. I really try not to , but you could just feel the love that this couple has for this little girl. For now, her 22 week old brother is still in utero, and I will be praying along with this family, that at least their little boy will have a fighting chance at a life, his little sister will never have.

Ok, all of you engaged couples, I now have a photo in a magazine! It’s out on stands now! It’s The Knot Minnesota Fall/Winter magazine. Collages.net my printing lab asked if they could use one of my photos for an ad in The Knot magazine. They said they chose the top 10 wedding photographers in Minnesota! I’m so excited! So, don’t forget to pick one up, I’m on page 23;)

{ Engagement Session }

Erin and Ben are getting married in July 2009, so of course we had to take some great engagement photos. I had so much fun photographing them at Como Park. We went into the conservatory which is always beautiful! We went to the Japanese Gardens, and even went on the carousel! Although we found out that the people working at the carousel frowned upon us trying to take some creative pictures.
No kissing, no holding hands, and everyone had to be on a horse! But, don’t worry, we did it all anyway

Here’s a little peek into the pictures!
