Erin & Ben’s Engagement Photos

Erin and Ben are getting married in July 2009, so of course we had to take some great engagement photos.  I had so much fun photographing them at Como Park.  We went into the conservatory which is always beautiful!  We went to the Japanese Gardens, and even went on the carousel!  Although we found out that the people working at the carousel frowned upon us trying to take some creative pictures.  No kissing, no holding hands, and everyone had to be on a horse!  But, don’t worry, we did it all anyway ;)   Here’s a little peek into the pictures!

Revamping Candice Brumm Photography

It’s time to revamp Candice Brumm Photography.  I’m starting with a new logo, brochures, and cards.  I also painted my studio, and started putting up larger prints so you can really see the detail in the portraits I take.  I’m also adding new products, and a great new referral program.  I’m really excited!  Stay tuned, more news to follow!

Oh Baby…

Can you believe I bought this cute little antique settee this summer at a garage sale?  It has come in very handy for some cute kids!  Take this little cutie!  Only 3 weeks old!  We also had to put her in my little hat box, and of course take pictures of her big brother! Cute family!!

Stacie & Steve

Wow, talk about a great location!  Stacie and Steve had their wedding ceremony and reception at International Market Square in Minneapolis.  This was my first time there for a wedding, and it was picturesque!  I love that we were able to go up onto the top floors to get some great aerial shots of the ceremony.  Every photographer loves a great location to photograph!  That’s why I was also happy when we went to the Stone Arch Bridge for some fun candid shots too! What a gorgeous wedding!!

Sara & Chad

Sara and Chad’s wedding was really fun!  Of course when you get married, you get ready, have the ceremony, take some pictures…  But then, the real fun begins!  Sara and Chad’s reception was absolutely beautiful!  It was located at a golfcourse and lodge, and had some great scenery with rocks and waterfalls!  So, of course, we had to take advantage of that, and have some fun with it!

Brooke & Joe’s Wedding

Living in another state, and trying to plan a wedding can be really difficult, but Brooke and Joe from New York, NY, planned it perfectly!  Most of our conversations about the wedding were by either phone or email. So, when I finally got to meet them, I was so glad that they were so fun, and laid-back.  I was more then happy to document their amazing wedding!

Brooke and Joe got married at Brooke’s Grandmother’s house in Marine.  It was such a beautiful place to get married!  And such a cute couple too!  I was really excited when the couple said they wanted to leave after the ceremony on a motorcycle!  I had been waiting for an opportunity like this since I started my own business.  It was so much fun!  I had a blast taking all of these amazing photographs.

Congratulations Brooke & Joe!

Laura and Ryan

Congratulations to Laura & Ryan who got married on June 29th at Gale Mansion.  What an amazing location to get married at.  And the weather was good too.  You never know what you’re going to get when you have an outdoor wedding in MN.

Kelsie

I had the pleasure of working with Kelsie last week for her senior pictures.  I had taken her sister’s senior photos a couple of years ago, and now, her little sister is ready to graduate.  I love working with this family!  They are really fun to work with, and of course they are ALL very photogenic!  Notice her sister and mom in one of the photos… Congratulations Kelsie!

Creative Portraiture

I had a really cool shoot this week with a mom and her two children.  She let me use my creative juices to get these super cool shots…
